New Delhi cartoonist Sumit Kumar has a regular comic series called Bakarmax, and one of the recent instalments "Guide To Hipsters" perfectly captures the inner workings of the Indian hipster.
Kumar told BuzzFeed that he did the comic series because he finds the behaviour of hipsters funny.
"They believe in being off-beat, but somehow they seem to be part of a template. I went with a hipster friend of mine to this pop up hipster festival in Bangalore and saw all of it there – I mean, it was always brewing inside but that day it came out on paper. I am a closeted hipster so this comic makes fun of me too," he added.
