On 16 December 2014, Army Public School, Peshawar, came under attack by the Taliban and 144 people were killed, most of them children. It's been one year since the tragedy.

Humans of Pakistan uploaded stories of some of the survivors of the attacks.

And each story is heartbreaking.

They discuss how terrifying the experience was, and how at that moment, they thought they were going to die.
