Shilpa Shetty Accidentally Became A Huge Meme After A Pretty Dumb Mistake About A Book

Yeah, not totally sure that's what Animal Farm is about...

Recently, it was announced that Harry Potter, Tintin, Amar Chitra Katha, and many others will be part of the English syllabus for ICSE students.

And everybody thought it was a great move.

Today, Shilpa Shetty, too, approved of the decision, and stated that other books like Little Women and Animal Farm should be added as well.

Small hiccup though. She thought that Animal Farm is about loving and caring for animals.

Now everyone's roasting her pretty hard over it. In fact, #ShilpaShettyReviews is No. 1 on India's trending list.

"I recommend children reading A Clockwork Orange because it teaches children how to take care of orange clockwork" #ShilpaShettyReviews

Today I'm gonna talk about "Wuthering Heights" and it is about a tall building. #ShilpaShettyReviews

And it doesn’t look like it’s going to slow down at all.

"I recommend kids read Fight Club because it teaches the importance of extracurricular activities like wrestling." #ShilpaShettyReviews

Shetty is still to release a comment, but I assume it will go something like this:

UPDATE: She later tweeted to deny she had ever said that or ever read the books mentioned in her quote.

Whilst I admire the writers of LOTR, Harry Potter & Animal Farm I've "NEVER" read these books(@ the cost of soundin even dumber!)Not my kind

..So recommending them to kids is out of the question! Obviously some misunderstanding..Don't want to get into it.This too shall pass. 🙏😓
