Great story. Terrible writing. How could one write an article and get the studio wrong? As others have commented, it’s loosely based on a Marvel comic book. But it’s a Disney movie. Does Buzzfeed not vet its writers? Or content? One wouldn’t attribute the “Snowpiercer” movie to the book’s publisher (Casterman). Or Cronenberg’s “A History of Violence” film to Paradox Press/Vertigo. As a freelance writer with a pesky BA in journalism, this mistake makes me cranky. Yes, I need to lighten up, but it’s so easy to fact-check before you publish. I think it would be classy to fix the article or at least post a correction at the bottom.
