"Love, Simon" Is Going To Be A Game Changer

There is no doubt this is going down as one of the best movies of the decade.

Love, Simon is a movie centered around a young man in high school.

The premise of the story is he has yet to come out as gay, but he has fallen in love with another classmate from an anonymous online forum of a sort.

Through out the movie, Simon is searching for this anonymous person

In the middle of this quest, he also ends up on a journey of self discovery. Along the way, there are montages of just a group of teenagers just genuinely enjoying each other and having fun.

Simon gets outed by his anonymous chat pal, but he takes it in stride, and while it is a low for him, he learns more about his friends and family then he thought was possible.

Love, Simon is going to change the game and expectations of movies,

When I saw the first trailer in theaters with The Greatest Showman I literally started crying. I was and am still so excited for this movie. Hollywood is going to have to step up its game and start representing LGBTQIA+ in movies as more than just their stereotypical tropes they like to throw us all in.

Now, I know what everyone is thinking,

"Why are you trying to shove the 'Gay propaganda' down our throats!?!"

Love, Simon is the “first gay teen romance comedy-drama produced by a major Hollywood studio.” Finally, the LGBTQIA+ community is not going to be buried in the movie, this is a first of it's kind movie, we are going to get a full character arc and development. Representation at it's finest!

Love, Simon premieres March 16th, 2018 in the USA. Make sure you get out and see it!
