Taylor Swift's Evermore Just Sold More Than 1 Million Copies Worldwide In Less Than Seven Days

Holy moly.

Taylor Swift's Evermore is pretty great — and her second album in 2020 is a huge friggin' hit too, of course.

According to Taylor's label, Republic, Evermore has sold over 1 million copies worldwide in less than seven days after its release. Wow.

An impressive feat on its own, and even more so when you consider that Folklore, her first album of 2020, which was released over the summer, did the same numbers in just as much time.

But wait, there's more. Evermore marks Taylor's eighth album to sell over 1 million copies within a week's time. What a run!

Taylor's 2006 self-titled debut is her only album that didn't sell over a million copies within seven days.

This latest milestone caps off what has obviously been a banner year for Taylor. In October, Folklore became the first album of 2020 to sell more than a million copies in the US, too.

Please clap.
