I've had my fair share of great desserts in my life including a Ferrero Rocher waffle and a crazy Cookies 'n Creme shake, but none that can top this one. People travel from all around to try these cookies. My personal favorite? The Cookie on a Cloud. It's a chocolate cookies topped with a marshmallow and chocolate icing. It's magical. Every single cookie they sell is actually magical. I don't know if it's the combination of spending the day at the Grand Canyon before you get there with the incredible fresh air, but the experience of eating cookies at this inn is my favorite in the world. —oliviah24

12. Milk Chocolate Panna Cotta — Clyde's of Chevy Chase in Chevy Chase, MD
The panna cotta was silky smooth with caramelized hazelnuts on top, and a raspberry sauce around it. The little dollop of fresh made whipped cream was a great counterpoint to the dark chocolate shortbread cookie with it. I fully admit, after eating every bite, I licked the plate clean and told the waiter it was the best dessert I'd ever eaten. It still is. —sydneyjr

The tiramisu from Trattoria Stella in Traverse City, MI is honestly the most deliciously amazing dessert I've ever had. It's made by their pastry chef daily and it's the PERFECT tiramisu. It looks super weird but this is honestly the best dessert I've ever had anywhere. It's sweet, it's savoury, it's melty, and crunchy, and soft. It pairs well with strong Turkish coffee or tea. I was skeptical at first (I am someone who appreciates good food, but have trouble justifying the cost of "fancy" places to myself when I enjoy cheap stuff just as much), but wow. They serve it piping hot, and then give you a little pitcher of thick, rich, steaming chocolate coffee sauce to pour. I am not typically a dessert person...
