Fans have warned Cardi against taking Offset back, and in a deleted tweet, Cardi B admitted that their relationship is "dysfunctional." In another tweet, she commented that she's "still the same" Cardi B from way back when and isn't sure what people are expecting from her. "This ain't Disney."

In a recent series of tweets, Cardi B — not one to shy away from social media when something's got her pressed — defended her on-and-off relationship with Offset:

One user recommended that she and Offset should try couples therapy because "cars, sex, and bags" can't fix a marriage. Cardi's response was that those gifts weren't to win her back, but rather because she's "spoiled" and likes nice things:

Cardi admitted in a Twitter voice message that she "didn't wanna talk about her relationship because [she] knows that we're sick and tired of [her] going back and forth with Offset."

"I just hate when people start using certain words too loosely...when y'all start using the word 'abusive'...I'm not in a physical[ly] abusive relationship; I'm not in a mental[ly] abusive relationship. I have choice."

"If I wanna go to an extreme to teach [Offset] a fucking lesson and fucking file for divorce, I can do that. It's my life."

"Y'all don't even live with us...y'all don't know the fuck we be goin' through," Cardi continued in the voice memo.

Another user said it was "her fault" that people were in her business because she "put it out there," to which Cardi B responded that she didn't put it out there, but it's a matter of public record:

However, the Bardi Gang has come out to support Cardi:

She seems to have concluded the discussion by bringing it back to her music and teasing that something could be dropping as soon as next year:

To my knowledge, Offset hasn't responded to or engaged with these tweets.
