Someone Pointed Out That Vans Land Facing Up When You Throw Them So I Tried It For Myself

"It's so satisfying."

Recently, a profound revelation was made by Twitter user @Ibelievthehype — Vans land face up when you throw them.

And you might think that's a fluke, but other people were inspired to try and LOOK.

Check out the landing after this super high toss.

Or this dramatically delayed flip.

Someone threw several pairs separately...

...and another person threw several pairs at one!

Of course, there were a few naysayers peppered in who saw different results, like this person's shoes that landed on their sides.

(Their shoes sort of bumped into each other, so perhaps that's why it didn't work.)

So, after seeing such a high success rate, I decided to try tossing a pair of Vans myself, and...

It worked! A few tosses from different heights got the same result. While we may not know the physics behind why this happens, I think we can all appreciate how random and cool it is.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go try random things with every other type of shoe I own to see what magical things they might be capable of.
