Last August, I was introduced to the addictive world of TikTok.
I admit it: at the time, I didn't see what all of the fuss was about. But I decided to create a TikTok account for my dog, because who doesn't want to see cute fluffy dogs?
Within a short time, I WAS HOOKED. The videos were funny and creative, and I couldn't get enough. Curious about what it takes to run a TikTok? Here's what I've learned:
Creativity is key. TikTok is all about trends, but if you want to stand out, you need to find ways to put a unique spin on those trends.
A major part of TikTok focuses on matching your videos to trending or featured music, so it's important to explore new sounds and songs.
There's more to TikTok than dancing. If your videos are relatable, they'll resonate with others.
There's a variety of interests on TikTok, and it's important to find your niche. Most of my videos focus on sharing my dog's life in a funny and unique way.
