#30. Either that person never took their dog to the vet, or they went to a shitty one. Allergies in dogs CAN DEFINITELY be that bad. That’s why veterinary dermatologists exist. Fun fact : dogs can actually be allergic to human dander, just like we can be allergic to theirs.

Also forgot to add if your primary DVM keeps treating an ongoing issue unsuccessfully, but refuses to refer your pet to a specialist or never at least makes that recommendation to you, that’s a red flag.
