What's Your Best Tip For Taking Great Pictures On A Phone Or Camera?

I am once again asking for photography advice.

Hey hey. My name is Amatullah and I have been calling myself a ✨photographer✨ of sorts for a few years now.

But like all great photographers, we gotta start somewhere. We're not all born knowing how to take Pulitzer Prize-winning photos.

Here's one of the first photos that I took with a film camera back in 2010. (Also can I just say that I saw an iPod Nano in a museum not too long ago? Talk about feeling ancient.)

So I want to know what tips and tricks you've used to take your work to the next level.

Apple Music / Via

Selfies included.

If you use a DSLR, maybe you've mastered all of the shooting modes and can tell people exactly which one to use and when.

A$AP Nast / Via

Blurry subjects? Moving objects? No light? No problem.

Or maybe you take great phone photos and think using the grid feature is the key thing to make sure photos look legit.

Who needs a fancy camera anyway?

And we can't forget about editing! There are so many editing tools out there but maybe you have one that's your "ride or die." Maybe Canva is your go-to because you use their Instagram story templates to add borders, filters, or text to your photos.

Maybe you even use their Instagram Reels templates to share your editing process with others. Either way, it's a win for you because it's free.

What are your best tips and tricks you want to share with anyone who wants to take their photos from 0 to 100? Let us know in the comments and feel free to upload a screenshot or photo using your tip.

The best submissions will be featured in an upcoming BuzzFeed Community post!
