It’s a funny Brit thing that we do to make things sound posher than they really are, as a joke... For instance, London tap water is also known as “L’eau de Thames”, Streatham in South London is St. Reatham etc. I haven’t heard microwave pronounced like that before but I’ll be using…
I loved it! It’s a cool experience and a must if you’re visiting Iceland. It’s definitely bright blue water, and so lovely and warm. Who cares that there are other people there too?
