    The Best Inclusive Movies Streaming Right Now

    In the age of quarantine, I've been turning to movies every night to get my mind off of what's happening in the real world.

    While I've gone through a lot of movies over the months — some good, some great, some terrible — I've decided to highlight the best films I saw that include a diverse cast because as is, there's not enough out there to begin with.

    Here's some titles available on Amazon Prime:

    1. The Sound of Metal

    When a heavy metal drummer's life is turned upside down, he must reckon with his changing circumstances and start anew.

    2. One Night in Miami

    The all-star cast plays five hugely significant characters: Malcolm X, Cassius Clay, Sam Cooke, and Jim Brown. It's a slice of history.

    3. The Big Sick

    Based on Kumail Nanjiani's life, The Big Sick is genuine and profound and funny, too.

    4. Sylvie's Love

    Set in the 1950s, this love story will have your heart soaring.

    5. Late Night

    This Mindy Kaling helmed movie has it all: heart and humor.

    6. Seven Pounds

    Oh man, Will Smith just destroys your soul here.

    7. Coming to America

    Coming to America is a classic from 1988 starring Eddie Murphy that will have you laughing.

    Zendaya and John David Washington. Need I say more?

    9. The Half of It

    Original and so heartfelt, the feels are intense with this one. You gotta watch this for the character of Ellie Chu alone.

    10. The Incredible Jessica James

    I mean, the name says it all. INCREDIBLE. You need to see this.

    11. Someone Great

    This one's got it all: friendship, love lost, great visuals. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll want to listen to "Death By A Thousand Cuts" after (IYKYK).

    12. The To All The Boys I've Loved Before Trilogy

    Sweetness overload. Based on the books by Jenny Hann, these films are overly adorable. Laura Jean forever.

    13. The Old Guard

    Netflix / Via gph.is

    It's got action, it's got heart, it's got a storyline that gets you from the opening scene. Honestly, we need a sequel.

    14. The Love Birds

    Paramount Pictures

    This movie is so good. The plot is original and hysterical. Issa Rae is IT.

    15. The Last Black Man in San Francisco

    A24 / Via gph.is

    Gloriously done and sincerely beautiful, this film is beyond words.

    16. Judas and the Black Messiah

    A story you absolutely must know (if you didn't before).

    17. Malcolm X

    Clocking in at 3 hours and 22 minutes, this movie is a commitment but if you're up for it, you won't regret it.

    18. Fahrenheit 451

    If you've read the book, you know what you're in for, and yet, not at all because this movie takes it to the next level!

    19. A Wrinkle in Time

    Oprah. Need I say more? Okay, I will: this movie has an amazing cast but also just hits all the feels.

    20. The Little Things

    Denzel Washington is, as always, a revelation.

    Funny and delightfully silly, Night School will have you cracking up, guaranteed.

    22. The Hate U Give

    You'll cry and rage and want to reach for the book this movie's based off of ASAP.

    23. Sorry to Bother You

    This one's a trip. Exciting and kinda crazy, anyone who's seen this movie raves about how they can't turn away.

    I know these aren't all of the inclusive movies available, but they're the ones I've watched and can reccomend so far. What about you?
