Look at you! Your aesthetic is Dark Academia. If you’re wondering what that is, let's break it down. The Dark Academia aesthetic revolves around classic literature, the pursuit of self-discovery, and a general passion for knowledge and learning. It's one of several variations each with a unique historical focus. The main color scheme is black, gray, beige, brown, cream, ivory, dark green, burgundy, and soft yellow in fabrics such as cashmere, wool, or tweed.

Dark Academia

Look at that! Your aesthetic is Light Academia. "What's that?" you ask. Well... Light Academia is an aesthetic that's essentially the emotional opposite of Dark Academia. It involves enjoying the little things in life and life in general: the outdoors, enjoying the company of others, the comfort of the ones around you, etc.. It also involves an interest in literature, music, art, history, and learning in general. The main color scheme for Light Academia is pale, muted colors such a white, cream, light gray, and plaid (if plaid were a color, that is).

Light Academia

So you're not quite Light or Dark Academia, but somewhat of a mixture of the two but also your own separate thing! Writer Academia is your aesthetic! Writer Academia (also known as Writercore or Poetcore) is an aesthetic that revolves around the art of writing – be it poetry, novels, or even fan-fiction. It's centered around the idea that writing is for everyone and the quality of work does not matter as long as you're passionate about it and having fun. It's the romanticization of writing and literature in any and all forms.
