“By the each” is pretty standard restaurant (and apparently retail) inventory lingo. Helps distinguish products that are counted by different units, e.g. By the case, by the pound, etc.

If you can’t afford to leave a 20% tip—in the US at least—you can’t afford to eat out. There’s usually a drive-through open if you can’t be bothered to tip; those employees at least receive an hourly wage.
