Netflix's "Locke & Key" Has A Trailer And It's The Stuff Of My Childhood Nightmares

Murdered father? Check! Creepy house? Check! Demons?! YOU BETCHA!

Good day to you, friend! How are you? Good? Great! I'm going to just cut to the chase on this one: Netflix's newest spooky series, Locke & Key, has a trailer and it's STUNNING:

The 10-episode series — which is based on Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez’s best-selling comic book series of the same name — follows three siblings who are grappling with their father's murder.

After his death, the children and their mother move to their ancestral home, which is aptly named "Keyhouse."

Why is that name apt, you might ask? Well, it's not long after the siblings move in that they discover the house is filled with seemingly magical keys. No, really...these keys are everywhere.

Each key unlocks something different...and it turns out it's not all fun and games. There's some seriously dark stuff happening.

And the more the siblings unlock, the more they realize that these keys may lead to clues about their father's untimely death.

Oh yeah, and at one point, they wake an angry know how kids are!

Based on the tone and color of this trailer, I'd say that this series looks like one part Stranger Things, one part The Haunting of Hill House, and one part every single nightmare I had as a small child.

So be sure to catch all of the colorful chaos when Locke & Key hits Netflix on Feb. 7, 2020!
