With that in mind, we rounded up 40 films premiering in spring 2023 (aka March 2023 through the first week of May 2023) that you're not going to want to miss! So wipe that pollen from your watery eyes, go take some allergy medicine (it's! spring!), and let's get started:

5. Chang Can Dunk

6. John Wick: Chapter 4

John Wick is four movies in and still on the run from the High Table and their seemingly endless collection of assassins. TBH, he's got to be tired at this point, but you'd never know it from Keanu Reeves' sharp suits and sick one-liners. Meanwhile, I roll out of bed at the crack of 8:58 a.m. for work at 9 a.m., and my knees hurt if I have to stand for more than 30 consecutive minutes.

11. Boston Strangler

In a pairing I never knew I needed (but now can't live without), we see Florence Pugh and Morgan Freeman as former future in-laws turned unlikely friends. Also, Flo looks so cute in this, I'm dangerously close to cutting my own hair like her's (should I? Nah...unless?).

It's well documented on this site (BuzzFeed dot com) that I, Allie, the human person writing this article you're reading, am very excited for this movie. I was privileged enough to get to cover Comic-Con 2022 for this site (BuzzFeed dot com), and it was my favorite panel by far. I play D&D myself, and I also love goofy adventure movies (I have been ride or die for The Mummy long before our beloved Brendan Fraser won his Oscar). So, needless to say, I'm rooting for this one. I hope it's real dumb and real fun.

28. Mafia Mamma

In a movie whose plot sounds like I threw a bunch of wild words into a hat, then tripped and spilled the contents of the hat onto the floor on accident, slipped around in them, fell, then read the sentence I landed on out loud: Toni Collette plays a recently jilted woman who returns to Italy for her grandfather's funeral, only to discover that he was the feared leader of a major crime family. "Obsessed" is an understatement.
