While we posted the trailer here for posterity, this seems like the type of film where you'll have zero idea what it's about until you see it. From what we can tell, the El Royale is a hotel with a dark, twisted past that sits perfectly on the line between Nevada and California. When seven strangers converge on the hotel one fateful night, everything that can go wrong, does. The film also boasts a STAR-STUDDED cast, including the likes of Dakota Johnson, Jon Hamm, Jeff Bridges, and a shirtless, wet Chris Hemsworth.

Steve Carrell is back and, this time, in a haunting drama. Based on two best-selling memoirs from father, David (Carell), and son, Nic Sheff (Timothée Chalamet), this film follows Nic's teenage years as he begins to rapidly unravel amid his addiction to meth and his father's determination to do whatever he can to help his son. Judging by the trailer alone, this is sure to be a heartbreaking performance from both actors, so make sure you bring tissues.

Academy Award season is definitely in full swing, as we have another contender in this Melissa McCarthy drama. Desperate, she begins falsifying documents as a means of garnering interest around her new works which, of course, slowly spirals out of control. Plus, this one is ALSO based on an unbelievable true story.

YES. IT'S HERE. The sequel/reboot of the Halloween franchise is upon us, appropriately, at the end of October. Infamous murderer Michael Myers has escaped from captivity, returning to terrorize a whole new generation of trick-or-treaters. But this time, Laurie Strode (horror-icon Jamie Lee Curtis in her original role) is ready to take him down, as she's been training her whole life just to face off with him again. I. CANNOT. WAIT.
