"The greatest scene is, in my opinion, what happens right before everyone else's favorite scene. Cap was battered and beaten, and Thanos's forces were gathering. Cap painfully got up and walked toward the whole army, planning to take them all on by himself if he had to! That summed up everything about Cap's character right there — refusal to quit, refusal to accept defeat."

"First, we find out that Yondu lost his position with the Ravagers because he refused to take young Quill to Ego, knowing what would happen to him. Then Yondu is told that he will never get a Ravager's funeral — and he STILL sacrifices himself to save Quill. THEN, in the end, when his body is released into space — the Ravagers acknowledge his sacrifice, not only welcoming him back to the family he loved but also giving him a full funeral! I cried ugly tears. It was so heartwarming and sad at the same time."

    14. Dr. Erskine's request, Captain America: The First Avenger (2011):

"For me, it's a quieter moment: when Steve’s talking to Dr. Erskine. Erskine tells him that the serum 'amplifies everything,' which is why Steve was chosen. When he told Steve not to be a 'perfect soldier' but a 'good man,' it hit me hard."

"It gave me chills and made me tear up a little. I was a kid when that song came out, and it really meant so much to me in terms of understanding my place in the world and helped to shape my views today. So hearing that song paired with that scene just brought back so much, and it meant a lot to me. My teenage daughter loved it as well, and I loved sharing the moment with her when we saw it in theaters."

"I know some people thought it was 'cheesy' and 'forced,' but as a young girl who was brought up on Marvel movies, I thought it was amazing. Seeing all these women I had admired my whole life come together in that one moment was so special, and it's honestly my favorite scene in any movie ever. I like to think that the Russo brothers did that for all the little girls like me who were raised on Marvel movies to remind them that they are heroes too!"

    18. The jet conversation, Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019):

    Marvel Studios

"My pick is Peter and Happy's conversation on the jet. You get a unique, insider-but-outsider look at Tony Stark and what those who surrounded him truly thought of him. You see Happy's loss, and that he clearly cared about Tony. He cares deeply for Peter, too, even if their relationship isn't defined the same way. Happy clearly trusts Peter because Tony trusted Peter. He knows that Peter could become greater than Tony Stark."

    22. And finally — the Stan Lee tribute, Captain Marvel (2019):

    Marvel Studios

"Though it technically might not count as a 'moment in the MCU,' one of the most powerful moments I experienced in a theater was when I went to see Captain Marvel. The previews had ended, the lights had dimmed, and the well-known 'MARVEL' opening sequence began to play — except every hero had been replaced by a different moment from the recently departed Stan Lee. THE Marvel hero. I was weeping before the film even started. It was a PERFECT tribute to his legacy."
