We're all familiar with Kate Beckinsale, right? She's an immensely talented actor who has appeared in some of the most underrated, nerd-tastic movies of all time *cough* Van Helsing *cough*.
Anyway, Kate stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week where she was promoting her newest film, Farming — and not the imaginary sequel* to Van Helsing that I made up in my head — when she revealed something that I now CANNOT unsee.

*Yes, I know she dies at the end of the first Van Helsing, but I don't care. Also, like, spoiler warning for a 15-year-old movie, oops.
First off, it was a whirlwind interview to begin with, starting out with Kate dispelling rumors that she has A "FAKE RUBBER LEG?" Because she can, like, stretch really far?! People on the internet are WILD.
But then Jimmy jumped right in and outright asked her which famous person she believes she looked the most like, and she didn't even PAUSE:
She even went as far as admitting that she sometimes MISTAKES posters and ads for Ryan's movies with posters and ads for her own movies.
And, as she pointed out, it's pretty upsetting to think your ultimate doppelgänger is not only a man, but a very manly man who's made a career of being a manly man who's manly.
And — I'm not going to lie, you guys — I can kind of see it?! Particularly in these pictures?!
Like, they have the same eyes and the same mouth?! Kind of?! Either way, they're both beautiful?! Is THIS bisexual culture?!
Anyway, despite MY being convinced of their likeness, Jimmy was NOT on board at all with Kate's revelation, saying that he didn't "see it" at all.
So, in short, I will NOT settle until I get a Van Helsing sequel starring Ryan Reynolds and a Deadpool movie starring Kate Beckinsale. WOULD WE EVEN NOTICE A DIFFERENCE?!
