Have you ever thought to yourself, "Screw a house...what if a DRESS was haunted?!" Well, do I have a movie for you! After a lonely divorcée (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) finds a seemingly perfect red dress in an odd London shop, her life is turned completely inside out. Horror! Comedy! Gwendoline Christie! This movie has everything you could possibly want this holiday season!

Look, I don't know who's been reading my diary, but I don't even have time to be angry about it because this film is giving me everything I ever needed. The original Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle crew is back, but this time, there's a twist! When Spencer (Alex Wolff) goes back into the world of the game, his friends seek to save him...but unfortunately his grandpa (Danny Freakin' DeVito) is pulled in along with them. In short, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will be acting like Danny Freakin' DeVito for a full movie. Bless. Up. Everyone.
3. Black Christmas (Dec. 13)

Any true horror fan knows that the original 1974 Black Christmas is an absolute staple of the genre. Here we have a brand-new, modern take on the creepy collegiate slasher that still sees sorority girls being taken out one by one at the hands of a campus stalker, but this time the ladies are ready to raise some hell of their own. Nothing says the holidays like bloody chaos!

What's...what's that? That smell? It smells like...THE ACADEMY AWARDS. No really, this is going to be one of those films that sweeps the acting categories, mark my words. Depicting the real-life sexual harassment scandal that shook Fox News to its core and boasting an absolutely star-studded cast including Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron, and Margot Robbie just...just take all of my money now, okay, thanks.
5. Uncut Gems (Dec. 13)

Speaking of the Academy Awards, here we have another major contender! This crime-thriller sees Adam Sandler in maybe the most transformative role of his career as Howard Ratner, a jeweler and gambler who is desperate to find a way out of the life he's trapped in. This one's already snagged a TON of award noms, including the Gotham Awards and the Independent Spirit Awards, so you're not going to want to miss it!

7. Cats (Dec. 20)

There's no way for me to explain the plot of Cats without it sounding like I'm making it up, but...here we go: A whole bunch of cats compete in a musical contest where the prize is to "ascend to the Heaviside Layer" where they are given a new dream life. The only thing wilder than the plot is the cast, which includes the incredible talents of Dame Judi Dench, Sir Ian McKellen, Jennifer Hudson, James Corden, Jason Derulo, Idris Elba, Taylor Swift, Rebel Wilson, and Francesca Hayward. Basically, this movie looks absolutely terrifying and I will be there to see it on opening day.
8. Spies in Disguise (Dec. 25)

I'm going to be real with you for a second...you need to watch this trailer if you haven't already. Like, stop whatever you're doing and watch it really quick. I'll wait. Okay, cool, you're back? WASN'T THAT WACKY?! Basically, the animated film starts off as your typical spy story following super-spy Lance Sterling (Will Smith). That is, until he's turned into a pigeon by his young scientist friend, Walter (Tom Holland), in order to better blend in. It's absolutely wild and I love it.
9. Little Women (Dec. 25)

Finishing off the month strong with another highly anticipated film boasting an absolutely unbelievable cast! The story — based on the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott — follows the every day lives of the March sisters, who are just trying to navigate the world of burgeoning adulthood. Written and directed by Ladybird's Greta Gerwig and starring Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, Laura Dern, Timothée Chalamet, and Meryl Streep...this one's sure to have you feeling absolutely all of the feelings!
