Listen — no matter how much of a bookworm you are in your soul — there's likely been at least ONE book that was so...questionable...you couldn't allow yourself to finish it, whether because it was too disturbing, too confusing, or, ya know, just plain bad.
So, with all of that in mind, what's one book that you started but never finished, and why?
Maybe it was something highly praised, like Cormac McCarthy's The Road, that was too depressing for you to make it to the final page.
Or perhaps you found the use of a fabricated language a little too difficult to follow and just couldn't get into Anthony Burgess's A Clockwork Orange.
Heck, maybe you tried to read E.L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey at the height of its popularity and just...couldn't. For...ya know...reasons.
Share the title of the book and a little bit about WHY you couldn't finish it in the comments below for a chance to be featured in an upcoming BuzzFeed Community post and/or video!
