Laurie Hernandez Absolutely Killed It On Her First Episode Of "Dancing With The Stars"

Last night, Olympic champion Laurie Hernandez took the floor on Dancing with the Stars and completely slayed. Here's the video of her adorable first meeting with partner Val Chmerkovskiy, and their incredible cha-cha.

So, naturally, when she met her partner Val for the first time, that competitive spirit came right out!

Deep down, though, she's still a 16-year-old fangirl who just realized she's gonna be on DWTS!

Before they hit the dance studio, Laurie gave Val some pointers for a killer floor routine.

In rehearsal, Val admitted he was feeling a bit of pressure, and that he's also a big fan of Laurie's.

And then it was time to dance.

Laurie and Val came out swinging to "American Girl" by Bonnie McKee.

This is only day one, and LOOK AT HER GO!!!!!
