    A Bunch Of Kids Learned The Truth About Child Hunger In America And Got Inspired To Help Make A Change

    "This makes me feel like, what are we gonna do to fix this?" We could all learn something from these young souls.

    SoulPancake recently partnered with ConAgra Foods in honor of National Service Month (April), to empower young kids to help fight child hunger.

    A representative from ConAgra Foods told BuzzFeed:

    This is part of a larger effort in April where 100 youth and teen grant recipients, from all 50 states, will reach more than 10,000 people by completing a service project of their choice that fights child hunger in their community. Grant winners received $500 grants from the ConAgra Foods Foundation as part of generationOn's Make Your Mark on Hunger campaign.

    When asked about their favorite foods, these kids didn't hesitate for a moment.

    They were also very confident in their choices for their LEAST favorite foods.

    They even had some clever ideas to get out of eating those dreaded veggies.

    Suddenly, they were faced with the startling statistic that one out of every five kids doesn't have enough food to eat.

    You remember hearing about starving children in other countries, right?

    That's when the kids discovered that those numbers are true for children right here in the United States.

    They all had ideas on how to help change the situation, and they quickly sprung into action, writing their ideas out to share on a giant brainstorming wall.

    As one of the kids put so eloquently: "The tiniest ripples make the biggest waves."

    "If all the kids in the world got together and did something big, they could impact the whole world."
