21 Nail Polish Hacks To Make Your Manicure Last Until The End Of Time

    Polish that won't quit.

    1. Rub nail polish remover on your nails even if they don't have polish on them.

    2. And if you're out of nail polish remover and your nails are bare, quickly dip them in a mixture of water and white vinegar.

    3. Lightly buff your nails to smooth bumps so that the polish will lay flat.

    4. Keep your nails at or below the tips of your fingers.

    5. Paint two basecoat layers: one on the top half of your nail and the second coat over the entire nail.

    6. And try a rubberized base coat to make your polish last longer.

    7. Roll the polish bottle between your hands.

    8. Apply multiple thin coats instead of one thick coat.

    9. And if you're going for a neon look, use white polish as your base.

    10. If your nail polish is B3F, make sure your base coat and top coat are, too.

    11. After you layer on your polish, don't wait too long to apply your top coat.

    12. And when you're applying a top coat, run the brush along the top edge (non-cuticle side) of the nail.

    13. Also, if you go to a salon, consider bringing your own bottle of polish.

    14. If you need a mani to last, avoid matte polish.

    15. If the air is humid, wait extra long for your nails to dry.

    16. If you're out of quick-dry polish or spray, you can spritz nails with PAM oil spray to set your manicure and prevent smudges.

    17. But don't soak your nails in ice water!

    18. And you should avoid washing your hands in hot water for at least 12 hours.

    19. Apply a thin layer of top coat on your nails every two or three days.

    20. If your nails start to chip, draw designs over cracked areas with a gel pen (like the kind from the office supply store).

    21. Or add a little glitter.

KILL 'EM WITH DEM NAILS, GURL.
