    They include:

Jay Z is such an inspiration. Came from the projects an now he’s a hip hop billionaire.

And his work ethic is inspiring a lot of people.

Jay Z coming from the dirt to hip-hop's first billionaire is a success story that should inspire a work ethic in everyone. Hard work pays off.

Look, even Def Jam tweeted congratulating the rapper.

"Call me Philli Collins, I feel a billion is in the air." Jay Z is billionaire status. Congrats, Hov.

This news also begged the question: Did we forget about Dre?

If Jay Z is raps first hip hop billionaire what is Dr Dre?

Remember he had supposedly been declared the first billionaire rapper years ago?

"Jay Z is the first rapper to reach billionaire status" Dr Dre:

There were also a handful of confused peeps who thought Jay was already a member of the Billionaires Club.

    I honestly thought Jay -Z been a Billionaire 🤷🏾‍♂️

But hey, not everyone is a billionaire, so hats off to Hova for making big moves and watching it all pay off...literally.

Here's to watching the Carters have fun spending all that money.
