Summer is in full swing, and we have a problem: most cocktail recipes use super random and/or unaffordable ingredients.
So in a fit of impulsivity/rage, I bought enough liquor to last a lifetime and started mixing it with ingredients I already had in my kitchen to see what stuck.
I settled on thirteen easy recipes with simple, cheap ingredients that were so damn incredible, I just HAD to share them. Bonus: my friends — Niki, Adam, Joe, Emily, and Ethan — tried each drink and gave me their opinions, so let their comments guide you through this list.
1. Green In The Face
2. Lazy Gal's Horchatapproximation
3. Mint Condition
4. Mister Whiskers Whispers
5. New England Iced Tea
6. Off-Shore Slushie Fund
7. Old Haunts
8. Picklebackwards Shot (inspired by this BuzzFeed taste test video)

10. Them Good Old Boys Were Floating Root Beer And Rye
