So, okay don't panic. But, just to make sure everything's out on the table, you need to know something...

It turns out, the Girl Scouts company uses two different bakeries to make their cookies. Both of which are cooking up two different products.

According to CNN, our favorite cookies are baked at Little Brownie Bakers, based in Louisville, Kentucky. They make Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, Trefoils and Savannah Smiles.

What the what are TREFOILS????

Okay so before you tumble into an identity crisis and start on "What's in a Samoa?", here's how they compare:

BOTH companies make Thin Mints and the Scouts' newest flavor, S'mores. BUT, the cookies are not one in the same. Thin Mints are somewhat similar, with the exception of a few minor changes in taste and appearances. But the S'mores are totally different cookies.
