Stunning Model Shares Stretch Mark Photo To Encourage Women To Love Their Bodies

"F**k them, who cares, be you, be loud, be proud."

Australian supermodel and new mother Robyn Lawley has shared a picture of the stretch marks on her belly in an empowering post on social media.

"As for my stretch marks I knew they were coming and as they're fading into white (like all my others) I thought I might capture them. Because they are some bad ass #tigerstripes. And I earned them," she wrote on her Facebook page.

She went on, "We put an unbelievable amount of ridiculous time consuming pressure on women to care so much about their flaws they forget how truly beautiful they (you) are today.

"F**k them, who cares, be you, be loud, be proud. And put your efforts into skills that rely more on your physical self."

Twenty-six-year-old Lawley, who was Sports Illustrated's first "plus-size" model, posted the selfie to hit back at false media reports published last year that she had considered an abortion to avoid stretch marks.

Lawley gave birth to Ripley, her daughter with partner Everest Schmidt, in February.

While denying the rumours about her, Lawley also spoke out about her pro-choice stance on abortion.

Throughout her career, Lawley has always been an advocate for women to love their bodies. "To anyone who feels bad about your body especially after a baby, you are a warrior, you created a life inside of you, that's no easy feat."
