There's Seriously Only One Woman In The Logies Hall Of Fame

Why are the Logies such a massive sausagefest?

Every year since 1984, the TV Week Logies have bestowed a Hall of Fame award "on a person or program who has made an outstanding contribution to Australian television."

Here's a list of all the award's past recipients. Can you spot the woman?

It's Ruth Cracknell! In 2001, after a 56-year career spanning theatre, film and television, the actress became the first woman to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

No woman has been given the award since.

It's not the first time the Logies judges haven't been female-friendly. In 1968, the panel decided not to award a Logie for Most Popular Female in Television.

The hashtag #morelogiewomen started this morning on Twitter, with Sandra Sully calling out for suggestions of Australian female talent to join the Hall of Fame.
