According to data provided by Pornhub, their traffic among site-identified gamers recently dipped down to 10% lower than usual, coinciding with the release of highly anticipated sci-fi role-playing game Fallout 4.
Interestingly, there was a slight uptick in traffic in the early hours of release day – Pornhub's data scientists speculate that its users were up late waiting for the game to download.
"In the afternoon traffic returned to normal, but after 6pm it dropped again when we assume that 9-5 workers arrived home and fired up their games," says the report.
The graph also shows a huge surge in traffic among gamers from 1 to 4am. Three hours? Someone really built up Endurance stats...
As we know, correlation does not necessarily imply causation, but...it makes you think, doesn't it?
