That includes Chadwick's longtime friend and Black Panther costar Michael B. Jordan, who recently got candid about their relationship and the grief he felt after losing him.
"Our relationship was a very personal one and had a lot of great moments — some that I couldn't fully appreciate and fully understand until now. I wish I had more time to have our relationship evolve, and grow, and become closer and stronger," Michael told Vanity Fair.
He went on to commend Chadwick for what he accomplished in his life, saying, "We got a concentrated dose of Chadwick. He did more in his 43 years of life than most people have done in a lifetime."
"And losing him was…yeah, man, it hurt. It hurt a lot. That's probably what made me cry the most this year," Michael candidly admitted.
Michael also reflected on Chadwick's decision to keep his battle private, which he says spoke volumes about his work ethic and the people around him.
"He's an incredible person," Michael shared.
Michael also paid tribute to Chadwick after his death last year in a touching post that looked back on their friendship.
"'Is this your king?!' Yes. He. Is! Rest In Power, Brother."
