It may have taken over a year, but we're finally getting our first look at The Addams Family spinoff series Wednesday — and Jenna Ortega in the titular role.
Netflix debuted a 15-second teaser trailer for the upcoming series where Jenna can be seen looking as spooky and kooky as ever.

While the trailer only offers a quick glimpse of Jenna in Wednesday's signature braids and eerie attire, fans are already freaking out:

And TBH, Jenna does look absolutely perfect for the role as she deadpans the camera and The Thing crawls on her shoulder.
Jenna also shared a black and white selfie in character from inside her dressing room — looking like a 21st century Wednesday.
The Tim Burton-directed "supernaturally infused mystery" is set to follow Wednesday through her years at the Nevermore Academy.
As a student, Wednesday must "master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago."
Tim Burton is bringing Wednesday Addams to Netflix in a live-action coming-of-age series! Burton will also make his TV directorial debut on the sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery that follows Wednesday as a student at Nevermore Academy
While we haven't gotten any other clips from the show just yet, we do know that the OG Wednesday, Christina Ricci, will be making an appearance.
The cast is also set to feature Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, and Gwendoline Christie.
