Gwyneth Paltrow Passed The Time In Quarantine In A Way You Would Not Expect
"Had to pass the time, you know?"
We've all been a little bored in quarantine, and apparently that even includes Goop mogul–actor–cookbook author–mom Gwyneth Paltrow.

While most of us have spent our time learning to bake or tie-dyeing sweatshirts, Gwyneth spent her time a little differently: She created a vibrator.

On Valentine's Day, Goop unveiled the sexy item, calling it the "ultimate wonder-ball wand" and "a dream," with the possibility for "endless exploration."

The $95 vibrator has already sold out, but that isn't stopping Gwyneth from getting some comments about how she spent her time during quarantine.

Artist and poet Cleo Wade praised Gwyneth for the product, writing, "Y’all Gwyneth Paltrow spent the pandemic making her own vibrator. What an icon." And Gwyneth had a pretty cheeky response:

"Had to pass the time, you know?" Gwyneth joked.
And before anyone could say anything else, Gwyneth took things to the next level and made a total meme out of herself:

"Beat you to it...I know how to meme too, guys. Head to @goop to see what all the buzz is about," Gwyneth captioned the photo.
In the original photo from the 1999 Academy Awards, Gwyneth was actually carrying an Oscar, not a vibrator.
Of course, her hilarious post drew comments from her famous friends, including Drew Barrymore and Jessica Seinfeld:

This isn't the first time Goop has delved into vaginal products — there was the time she released vaginal jade eggs, and who can forget about that "This Smells Like My Vagina” candle?

While Gwyneth admits that the candle started as a joke, it has gone on to take on a much deeper meaning for her.
“You grew up getting messaging around the feminine care that was heavily scented with synthetic fragrances and all this kind of thing. It just felt it was time to make a bit of a feminist statement around accepting who we are and our femininity. I feel like once people get past the initial shock of it, and you really start to unpack what it means and what it’s saying, it’s pretty cool," she told Us Weekly.
