Game Of Thrones Heading To The Big Screen?

Yes, in fact, the beloved series is heading to the biggest of screens…....IMAX.

The fifth season of Game Of Thrones may be months from premiering, but you don't have to wait until then to get your fill.

No, HBO hasn't invented a fantastical time machine that'll pluck you from your plain, boring, no-threat-of-someone-stabbing-you-with-a-sword, non-dragon lifestyle, and plop you right in the middle of the tumultuous, middle-aged, numerous-storylined land of Game of Thrones.

They are, however, hooking you up with the next best thing.

Beginning January 23rd, you can relive all the blood, sex, death, pillage, and plunder that Westeros has to offer in unabashed IMAX.

From Jan.23-29, more than 150 IMAX screens across the U.S will feature the last two episodes of Season 4 (digitally remastered to create the ultimate viewing experience), followed by the exclusive world premiere of the Season 5 trailer.

That's right, boys and girls, IMAX. It'll be like your actually Mother of Dragons....well. you and everyone else in the theater.

Game of Thrones is making history by being the first television series screened in IMAX. Tickets will be available for purchase on the IMAX website, but until then, here's the season 4 blooper real to hold you over.
