People have been saying “comedy is dead” since it fell out of favor to do blackface or to shit on the Irish. Almost certainly even longer. Comedy didn’t die then, it isn’t going to die anytime soon. It just evolves to the accepted cultural norms of the time

A hero is anybody that bravely stands up and does the right thing. That would include drag queens. In the face of all the vitriol spewed at them and the threat violence, it’s pretty damn brave
