This Guy Has A Huge Tattoo With Over 200 Simpsons Characters On His Back

    Michael Baxter has spent around £10,000 getting inked.

    This is Michael Baxter, 52, from Bacchus Marsh, Australia.

    His huge back tattoo of Simpsons characters means he might just make the Guinness World Record for most cartoon character tattoos.

    He told Mail Online: "'Guinness have accepted my application, but I have a lot of paperwork to fill out."

    Baxter said he began to fall in love with tattoos over a decade ago, but only recently began to get obsessed with cartoons.

    Baxter said it wasn't until he recently discovered a local tattoo studio that his animation fixation really took off.

    The design, by artist Jade Baxter-Smith, has taken 130 hours in total.

    She said: "Michael came to me and said he wanted all The Simpsons characters on his back. I laughed and thought he was joking."

    Baxter also has a tattoo of Stewie from Family Guy on his thigh and a number of designs on his arms, which include tributes to his parents.

    According to Time: "Baxter hopes for world record recognition on Dec. 17, which also happens to be the 25th anniversary of the premiere of The Simpsons."
