This Woman Is A "Mother" To 300 Plastic Dolls And Used Her Family's Hair To Make Some Of Them
Meet Marilyn Mansfield and her incredible doll collection.
Here's Marilyn Mansfield, 36, with a pram. And in that pram is – not a baby.

The pram contains a doll. One of the 300 ultra-realistic dolls she owns.

She cares for them like they're her own children. No, really.

She told Barcroft Media: "“I loved walking with a stroller when my kids were little - they don’t fit in the strollers anymore, so I take out a doll. The dolls can be therapeutic - for some people it can be beneficial as long as you’re not losing touch with reality."
She went on to say: "My instinct is to cuddle them, mother them, take care of them - that just comes natural for me."

There are dolls all over her home in Staten Island, which she shares with her husband Zoth, 40, son Damien, 10, and daughter Skylar, 15.

Damien, with some dolls.
She's even used her son's hair to make the dolls.

She told Barcroft Media: "One of my favorites is Davina Star - I rooted her hair with my son’s hair. We usually use goat hair for the babies, but I decided to use my son’s hair so she looks like more of the family."
Her husband's totally cool with it.

He told Barcroft Media: “This is my life and has been for over ten years now - living babies surrounding me in my bedroom and every room of the house."
Not too sure how daughter Skylar feels.

Anyway, that's the story of Marilyn Mansfield and her incredible doll collection!
