So According To "Fantastic Beasts" Muggles Aren't Called Muggles In The U.S.


There's been a lot of Harry Potter news to take in of late.

But the most shocking revelation of all might be the most recent: Non-Wizarding folk are called something DIFFERENT in the United States than they are in the U.K.!

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Fantastic Beasts movie will introduce us to what American Wizards call nonmagical folks.

"Muggle," meet...."No-Maj."

As in "no magic," "pronounced "no-madge." Think Madonna's nickname.

Somewhere in the U.K. right now, this is probably J.K. Rowling dancing over all of our brains...
