But some also found a way to intertwine all of the Star Wars talk with another current event: the punching of the white supremacist Richard Spencer.

A lot of people lobbed out the big question itself: Is it OK to punch a sith?

I think my favourite bit of the first Star Wars was when they stopped the Empire blowing up Alderaan with vigorous and open debate.

People didn't hold back.

I am not going to argue whether or not it is okay to punch a Jedi.

You know what The Last Jedi would do? Punch nazis in space.
