Okay, I know what you're thinking. This can't be good. Trust me, it's delicious. Yeah, I know, I don't have a Mexican abuela who made this for me every winter. I'm the guy who submitted a DNA test to Ancestry.com and got the three-word result back: "You are white!" Fortunately, I married a lovely woman who works as a florist in Seattle and has a real knack for creating delicious food. Maybe it's because of her Puerto Rican ancestry, and maybe it's just because she has an amazing palate. Anyway, this recipe was inspired by a New York Times Sopa de Albóndigas recipe. I made a few changes and I hope you try it and love it.
