    Russian April Fools' Day

    In Russia, it is socially acceptable to celebrate April Fools' Day by blowing up Lenin's statue with a huge bundle of TNT.

    There is also a leg wound in the statue, so it looks like Lenin got gunned down all over again. (He was shot at at some point, right? I would think yes.)
