If you did walk around with a boner, I wouldn’t touch it. Nor get upset with you if didn’t want me to look at it. Nor would I even bring attention to the fact that you are walking around with a “naturally occurring uncontrollable boner.” Nor would I jump on it because-“what else is a boner for, if you didn’t want to use it, you wouldn’t have it showing through your clothes for me to see”… Because that is objectifying and violating something that you have no control over. A woman cannot control the way her body matures. If the way her body matures makes you uncomfortable, insecure, or excited- a woman should not be punished for it- or rewarded for that matter. Also, we shouldn’t focus on it too much either. If we know that all girls will grow into women with boobs and curves, why shame a girl or teach her that it is her fault when she gets unwanted attention when her boobs and curves make their debut? Why not just let it be? I am sure this girl is not talking about wearing a bikini to school, and if she is then the conversation should be different. But if I have long arms, why should I always wear a skirt to my ankles- because I will always fail my fingertip test if it stops at my knees?
