1. A sexy but sturdy one-shoulder wonder from FeelinGirl.

amazon.co.uk, amazon.co.uk

Real-life review:

"Size purchased: XL

I absolutely love this! It's so hard to find some swim wear I actually feel nice in. I have size B-C Breasts, a small waist and large hips so finding anything to complement it is so hard. But I feel so nice in this! It covers everything I want it to whilst leaving a bit of flesh to feel a little sexy. I'll defiantly be buying another in a different colour. Cannot wait to wear it. Also looks nice if you tuck the shoulder strap in to avoid any strap tan lines." – Kelly Stephenson

Real-life review:

"Size purchased: XXL

Love this swimsuit so much I want it in every colour! Easy to put on, comfortable to wear and looks great. I am very self conscious about how I look in swimsuits but this one really gives me a confidence boost! It flatters the parts that you like." – Rosie 19

2. An adorable polka-dot one piece, with a cute lil' skirt from Alove.

amazon.co.uk, amazon.co.uk

Real-life review:

"Size purchased: UK 14

Absolutely delighted with this swimsuit. I'm size 14 on top and 12 on bottom so i ordered size 14 and it fits well and very comfortable. I love the little frill it adds a bit of quirkiness and gives a bit of modesty. I would recommend this to anyone and will be looking for other designs by this maker." – Amazon Customer

Real-life review:

"Size purchased: UK 12

The quality of the material and cut of this one piece swimsuit is superb. The design is really nice especially the frill as it covers your bottom area. The bra part is padded and gives you extra support and lift. This is a quality swimsuit and I would purchase again from this seller." – Cathy Mum of Three

3. A retro-look bikini with modern-levels of boob support by Angerella.

amazon.co.uk, amazon.co.uk, amazon.co.uk

Real-life review:

"Size purchased: 4XL`

I've given this 5 stars for its sheer flattering nature. I'm a small 18 with 38E chest so ordered 18-20. The bottoms fitted perfectly and cover my round belly well. The top is big on the band but small on the cups. All this means is the wire doesn't sit flat against my chest but there is NO four-boob. Great value for money". – Amazon Addict

Real-life review:

"Size purchased: XL

I'm 5'1", a 36D with a tiny waistline and very wide hips. I spent weeks shopping for a swimsuit and none of the styles catered to my body shape. I went to every store on the high street and absolutely nothing fit properly or flattered my body. I decided to throw caution to the wind and order online in hopes that maybe this suit would fit properly (I ordered the size 12-14). I was so happy when I put it on. It fits perfectly and flatters every part of my body. Doesn't squeeze around my thighs or breasts so it doesn't make them look bigger, and it covers my tummy while still looking sexy. Also gives proper support up top so I'm not worried about any wardrobe mishaps while swimming. If you have a pin-up style body, or are just a curvy lassy who wants a more modest swimsuit, I'd recommend this suit." – Christina

4. A fun and flirty patterned halterneck by Ninimour.

amazon.co.uk, amazon.co.uk

Real-life review:

"Size purchased: Medium

I normally struggle to find costumes to fit me as I have a really long torso. The fact that this costume is a halter neck is also really good for my body shape as there is some adjustability in how tight you fasten round the back of your neck. I am a 44 year old woman that has had two children and I often feel self-conscious in a bathing costume but I really do feel great in this swim suit. The quality of the material and stitching is all good and I really love this style as it's slightly different to a normal costume with the vintage shorts look to it. I love the spotty pattern and it really is a striking costume." – Tony Burton

Real-life review

"Size purchased: XXXL

The swimsuit itself really surprised me with how thick and opaque the fabric is. Even pricey high street swimwear can sometimes be so thin that it goes see-through when stretched. This has a LOT of stretch and maintains the colour and pattern without the slightest problem. If you are a more slender lady, this is going to give you supermodel curves and a flat stomach without even trying. If you are a bigger girl, this will tighten everything up without flattening your bottom.

The cups are fantastic. With 100% honesty I can say that I wish this company made bras. I struggle so much with getting bras that fit that I gave up on finding underwired swimwear years ago. This swimsuit gave me the shock of my life. The cups are firmly underwired but the thick padding covers the wire, so there's no painful digging-in under the bust. The cup padding goes all the way round to the sides, which hoists up AND pushes in your boobs, whilst still being really really comfortable." – Caroline S

5. A striped and skirted sailor suit from Nonwe.

amazon.co.uk, amazon.co.uk

Real-life review:

"Size purchased: UK 22 (US 18)

LOVE this swimsuit! I'm a size 22 and the size fitted perfectly. It's so cute and looked fantastic on! I like that the boobie area is not boned as I have problems with my boobs fitting in boned swimming costumes. It was comfortable and looked fab... what more can I ask for." – S Harris

Real-life review:

"Size purchased: UK 12

As a UK size 10 I ordered the size UK 12 which was according to the sizing chart. This fitted me very well and I would say it was the correct sizing. The swimsuit is very flattering and looks great on." – Mary Fairy 17

6. A pin-up perfect floral number for all sizes by Gigileer.

amazon.co.uk, amazon.co.uk

Real-life review:

"Size purchased: Large

I was pretty skeptical as far as this fitting well. And it's perfect! I have 43in hips, 29in waist, and 36in chest. The top is a little big in the cups but not anything noticeable or not easily fixed with inserts. The bottoms are perfect. I'm so happy with this!" – Amazon Customer

Real-life review:

"Size purchased: XXL

Gorgeous colour, lovely material. Very flattering for a bigger tummy." – Tinkabell

7. A boyleg one-piece that is perfect for fitness swimming by CharmLeaks.

amazon.co.uk, amazon.co.uk

Real-life review:

"Size purchased: n/a (but it's modeled by the user in the photo above!)

"I've recently started swimming for fitness, so I needed a costume that wasn't going to ride up or fall down and that could hold me, and I am so happy I found this product! I've only used it three times so far but it seems robust and still fits. So nice to have a costume that covers the tops of my thighs (stretch marks i'm very self conscious about!) and comes up high enough so i don't have huge cleavage! Definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a good coverage, robust costume! (:" – Katie Amanda Green

Real-life review:

"Size purchased: 20

A great costume, for a great price. I'd highly recommend these costumes if you have a few lumps and bumps that you want to cover up. The costume holds you in lovely, and enhances your shape in all the right places. You won't feel embarrassed to go swimming in this lovely costume, and would highly recommend to anyone to buy one..." – T. Gauld
