    A Nottingham institution, a Brown Betty's lunch will set you up for the rest of the day. Take on the Three Meat Ciabatta (above) if you dare. It features turkey breast, two rashers of bacon, salami, melted cheese, and salsa with jalapeños. Maybe don't eat it at your desk though.

    This tiny deli punches above its weight. And its MVP is the salami sarnie. It's got Wenlock Edge Farm salami, slow-roasted fennel, cream cheese, and mixed baby salad leaves on Peel and Stone multigrain bread. Worth travelling for.
