We tested these bad boys FOR you!

We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Just so you know, BuzzFeed may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

    1. These descaler sachets are a great way to remove the crust from inside your kettle.

Jasmin Nahar / BuzzFeed, Amazon / Via

"I emptied the liquid contents into my half-full kettle, put it on to boil, and then let it sit for ten minutes before emptying it out. The alarmingly large flakes of limescale at the bottom were gone, and cuppas no longer had that dreaded scummy stuff on top of them!"

    – Jasmin Nahar

    Price: £1.66 for three sachets.

    2. This soap saver will keep your sink protected from the stickiness of wet bar soaps!

    Valeza Bakolli / BuzzFeed

"I really love this gadget – it's so simple, but it really does work. Air circulates through the plastic and helps to dry the soap on top! Neither side of this soap saver has gotten sticky yet, so I'm pretty wowed."

    – Valeza Bakolli

    Price: £3.98.

    3. I'm a huge fan of this 100% pure cold-pressed jojoba oil.

    Amy Glover / BuzzFeed

This oil deeply moisturises my hair, skin, and nails, and you get a huge bottle for less than a tenner! It's highly-absorbent, and I love its gentle fragrance. (BTW, this shimmery nail polish is Ice Queen by Barry M – you can nab a bottle here for £3.99.)

    Price: £6.99 for 200ml.

    4. In fact, I love this stuff so much that I turned it into my go-to cuticle oil with the help of these empty twister brush pens (and yes, I did feel like a pro when I finished making these).

    Amy Glover / BuzzFeed

These were really cheap and surprisingly easy to use – just take the brush heads out, fill the cartridge with oil, and pop them back in again. I've found that with a bit of messing around, these pens can be refilled (which is a good thing, seeing as I've still barely made a dent in my jojoba oil). I love saving money, so you can imagine how happy I was to score these – the cheapest cuticle pens I could find online were still around £3 each.

    Price: £5.69 for five.

    5. You'll be able to wash your dishes using only water thanks to this clever double-sided washing-up pad.

    Jasmin Nahar / BuzzFeed

"NGL, I was a little bit sceptical about whether or not this would work, but the reviews were so good I HAD to give it a go! Turns out it really does do live up to its promises – there's one tough scrubber side and another softer side, so you'll have all your bases covered. Just chuck it in the washing machine whenever it gets grubby!"

    – Jasmin Nahar

    Price: £3.00.

    6. This reusable pet roller will pick up even the finest of hairs in no time.

    Jasmin Nahar / BuzzFeed

"I have a golden lab, so when she sheds hair, it's really noticeable on my soft furnishings. Lint rollers don't work for me, and I'm not realistically going to whip out a hoover every time I spot a strand. This reusable roller really changed the game for me! It picks up every single hair, and while you're using it, the fur gets collected into a handy compartment that you can easily open into the bin."

    – Jasmin Nahar

    Price: £11.48.

    7. Not to overshare, but my flat had a really annoying ant infestation a few weeks ago (it's been hot, okay?). These low-effort baits got rid of them for good!

    Amy Glover / BuzzFeed

They're laced with slow-acting poison which the worker ants bring back to the queen ant (in other words, it tackles the infestation at its source). Just leave them on your floor – the closer to the ant's nest, the better – and let 'em work their magic! The baits took about two days to work, and we genuinely haven't seen an ant since.

    Price: £3.49 for two.

    8. This highly-rated magnetic holder gives you somewhere safe to store your phone while you're driving.

    Valeza Bakolli / BuzzFeed

"It's got a really strong hold – my phone has never dropped off of it! It's easy to attach your device to this holder, and it'll stay put in your vents without taking up loads of space. I also love that it doesn't look clunky or out of place when it's not in use!"

    – Valeza Bakolli

    Price: £6.89.

    9. If your fave nail polishes have been looking a little gloopy lately, you don't necessarily have to throw them out! I've used this nail polish thinner to transform a few of my own varnishes.

    Amy Glover / BuzzFeed

In case you haven't noticed yet, I'm a massive fan of anything that'll save you money in the long run. This nail thinner fits the brief exactly! You'll only need to add one or two drops to your old nail varnish before turning the bottle around to distribute it (shaking your polishes will add too much air). If the before-and-after pics haven't sold you yet, maybe its low price tag and rave reviews will!

    Price: £5.00.

    10. OGX's biotin & collagen conditioner is a cult-status product for a reason, so you can imagine how delighted I was when I found it for less than £3.50 online.

    Amy Glover / BuzzFeed

You know when you try a tester of a fancy product and regret it almost immediately, because now you're hooked on something pricey? Yeah, that's what happened here. I have really long hair, and I appreciate how nourishing and moisturising this conditioner is on my dyed ends! It costs around £7 in my local supermarket though, so I was VERY pleased to snap it up for half of that online.

    Price: £3.49.

    11. I'm addicted to this AHA peel from The Ordinary, which exfoliates my skin AND gets rid of excess oil.

    Amy Glover / BuzzFeed

I have combination skin (meaning it's both dry and oily), so it can be hard to find products that solve both of my skin problems at once. This AHA peel tackles both issues at the same time! Leave a couple of drops of this peel on your face for about ten minutes and the gentle-but-effective AHA and BHA compounds will give you the perfect at-home facial. It removes my dead skin without drying me out, and seeing as it's a once-weekly product, a bottle goes a really long way!

    Price: £5.99.

    12. This eyelash serum has earned its thousands of rave reviews.

    Valeza Bakolli / BuzzFeed

"My lashes seem thicker and fuller after just a couple of uses! The formula is packed full of vitamin E and nourishing peptides, so my lashes actually look (and feel) healthier too. I love the lil' brush because it gets right into every eyelash, even the tiny ones!"

    – Valeza Bakolli

    Price: £6.98.

    13. Now that the weather's gotten rainy again, I've started relying on these incredible suede and nubuck brushes to restore my shoes when they get damp.

    Amy Glover / BuzzFeed

They're firm enough to ~throughly~ clean my boots, but soft enough not to damage the delicate fabric!

    Price: £2.79 for two brushes.

    14. My coworker's nails always look amazing, so when she told me she swore by this Seche Vite topcoat, I added it to my basket ASAP. I've been really impressed by its silky, chip-resistant finish!

    Amy Glover / BuzzFeed

Nail polish used to barely last me a day, partly because when I saw a loose bit of varnish I couldn't resist picking it off (I know, I know). This topcoat's finish is too hard to be picked at, though – I feel like I'm wearing gels! It bonds your nail varnish to the nail beds underneath, so your manicure will stay put for weeks. (In case you're interested, the lilac nail paint in this picture costs £2.16 from Rimmel, the white nail polish is the £2.90 Cotton shade from Barry M, and the black varnish is £2.54 from Rimmel. I used the end of a bobby pin to create the cow print pattern, but you can use a dotter tool instead!)

    Price: £7.24.

    15. This microwavable heating pad is filled with lavender-scented wheat, which retains warmth for ages.

    Valeza Bakolli / BuzzFeed

"The scent is slightly herbal rather than overly floral, and it's not too overpowering! I find this heater is perfect for use around my neck or lower back."

    – Valeza Bakolli

    Price: £9.99.

    16. Treat yourself to a luxurious night in with this jade roller, or relax with these fancy AF gold-coloured patches. Or, you know, do both at the same time.

    Valeza Bakolli / BuzzFeed

"The patches brighten and plump my under-eye area in minutes – they make me feel like I'm in a spa! The jade roller is a great way to work in serums without getting the oil from your hands onto your face."

    – Valeza Bakolli

Gold patches price: £9.99 for 25 pairs.

Jade roller price: £11.95 – it also comes with a jade scraper.

    17. I have a scar in one of my eyebrows that I like to keep covered, but now that I almost never go outside, I can't be bothered to pencil them in all the time. This popular eyebrow tint claims to last up to six weeks – four weeks in, I have yet to be let down!

    Amy Glover / BuzzFeed

The formula gets to work in about ten minutes! It comes with a handy spoolie for easy application, and the tint definitely helped to conceal my gap. Of course, this product can only dye the hairs that are already there – I usually add more to the tails of my brows when I apply makeup – but it does a good enough job that I feel okay walking around with no product. A little bit of this stuff goes far, so the pack should see you through a few applications.

    Price: £6.07.

    18. But when I do wear makeup, I swear by this dewy-finish setting spray from NYX. It makes my foundation look way less cakey, and it keeps my makeup in place all day.

    Amy Glover / BuzzFeed

NYX also do a matte version of this setting spray, but I prefer the dewy kind on my dry-leaning skin! It makes my face look more hydrated and ensures my foundation looks more like skin than makeup – and as if that wasn't enough, it's got some serious staying power too.

    Price: £7.00.

    19. My chin has been flaring up a lot since I started wearing masks every time I head outside. These NIP+FAB glycolic patches help to exfoliate and decongest my skin!

    Amy Glover / BuzzFeed

I might not always be able to commit to a very intense skincare routine, but it's hard NOT to use these patches at night because the application is so easy. They contain exfoliating glycolic acid and decongesting salicylic acid, among loads of other skin-reviving ingredients! They're designed to be used just before you fall asleep, so I keep a tub on my bedside cabinet for easy access.

    Price: £9.95 for 60 patches.

    20. If your hands are feeling a little bit dry at the moment, this ridiculously highly-rated hand cream from O'Keeffe's is well worth a try.

    Jasmin Nahar / BuzzFeed

"I love how non-greasy this formula is, and it sinks into my skin quickly too. The formula contains allantoin, which ensures the moisture in your hands stays there! You'll get a lot of payoff from just a little bit of product."

    – Jasmin Nahar

    Price: £10.38.

    21. I love crocheting – it's the perfect way to keep myself entertained without a screen while I'm spending so much time indoors. These coconut shell buttons make everything I create look way more ~luxe~!

    Amy Glover / BuzzFeed

They come in a pack of five, which is pretty great value at less than £3. If you're interested, this project is a fold-away produce bag! I wish I'd have made it with cream wool instead of pink, but either way, the free pattern is available here.

    Price: £2.90 for five.

    22. I've been on the hunt for a good yoga mat for ages, but they can be pretty expensive. This one was decently-priced, and I've found it makes my home workouts significantly quieter!

    Amy Glover / BuzzFeed

This mat doesn't slip around when I'm using it, and it's long enough to remain functional when I fold it in half for extra padding. It comes with a handy carry strap, which is useful for storage and transportation!

    Price: £7.99.

    23. If you love keeping your hair out of your face but hate the tension that often comes with tying it up, these Invisibobble hair ties will give you the best of both worlds.

    Jasmin Nahar / BuzzFeed

"Their coiled structure distributes pressure evenly, so I don't have to worry about getting headaches from keeping my hair in a high pony almost all the time. It reduces hair breakage too!"

    – Jasmin Nahar

    Price: £3.93 for three.

    24. This cuticle remover gel from Sally Hansen gets to work in fifteen seconds.

    Valeza Bakolli / BuzzFeed

"It got rid of the dead skin at the base of my nails ridiculously quickly, and it didn't burn or even prickle. You get loads of product for the price!"

    – Valeza Bakolli

    Price: £4.20.
