    1. Got blackheads? Try some NIP+FAB glycolic pads.

    Amazon / Via

Glycolic acid is a really effective chemical exfoliant, meaning it helps you shed old, dead skin cells. Blackheads happen when individual pores get blocked up by dead skin and excess oil, so these pads will definitely help clear that stuff out!

    Price: £7.50.

    2. Aveeno Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser is gentle on rosacea-prone skin, and it's got feverfew in it as well, which is known to reduce redness.

    Amazon / Via

If you've got rosacea, chances are your skin is fairly sensitive too. This cleanser is incredibly gentle, so it won't break down your skin barrier further. The feverfew in this product also soothes and calms your skin, so it's a double win!

    3. Milia are those small, hard bumps on your skin. Salicylic acid can help to clear 'em out!

    Amazon / Via

Milia are tiny balls of keratin (the same stuff you find in your hair and nails) that sit under your skin. It shows up as small, hard bumps under your eyes, on your cheeks and chin, and in other places too. Some salicylic acid will help to gradually remove the layers of old skin that these keratin balls are trapped under, while staying gentle enough not to damage your skin. No wonder this cream has so many really positive reviews!

    Price: £16.99.

    4. Softer bumps, often found on your forehead, cheeks, and even all over your body (especially your shoulders and chest) could well be a type of fungal acne. It sounds a bit weird, but products like Nizoral could actually work wonders here!

    Amazon / Via

Unlike clogged pores (regular spots) or even infected zits, fungal acne is a specific bacteria called malassezia that feeds off the oil in your skin (ew). It takes the form of spots which can be white or red, and which look really similar to acne or whiteheads. Traditional skincare products won't usually work on fungal acne because it's not a buildup of skin or oil, which is what most products treat. Instead, the fungus is best treated by an anti-fungal cream, and loads of people have found that Nizoral (an anti-dandruff shampoo that contains malassezia-killing ketoconazole) works brilliantly.

    5. Hyaluronic acid is great for keeping the moisture in your skin, so it'll definitely help to end your dry skin woes.

    Amazon / Via

This acid binds to the water that's already in your skin to make sure it stays exactly where it should. This acid is lightweight but still properly penetrates the skin rather than just sitting on top of it. Poppy Austen's hyaluronic acid is a real bargain – it contains twice as much product per bottle as other skincare brands, so it's no wonder this stuff is so highly-reviewed!

    6. Got combination (dry and oily) skin? The Ordinary's AHA peel could help you out.

    Amazon / Via

This peel works by exfoliating dead cells and excess oil out of your skin (both are an issue if you've got combination skin). Not only will it stop a buildup of oil and debris complicating your skin even more, it'll make you look fresher as well. You only need to use this peel about once or twice a week for great results, so it's not super high-commitment either!

    7. Pink clays masks are great for skin that honestly just needs a bit of a boost.
