    Milia are tiny balls of keratin (the same stuff you find in your hair and nails) that sit under your skin. It shows up as small, hard bumps under your eyes, on your cheeks and chin, and in other places too. Some salicylic acid will help to gradually remove the layers of old skin that these keratin balls are trapped under, while staying gentle enough not to damage your skin.     4. Softer bumps, often found on your forehead, cheeks, and even all over your body (especially your shoulders and chest) could well be a type of fungal acne. It sounds a bit weird, but products like Nizoral could actually work wonders here!

    Unlike clogged pores (regular spots) or even infected zits, fungal acne is a specific bacteria called malassezia that feeds off the oil in your skin (ew). It takes the form of spots which can be white or red, and which look really similar to acne or whiteheads. Traditional skincare products won't usually work on fungal acne because it's not a buildup of skin or oil, which is what most products treat. Instead, the fungus is best treated by an anti-fungal cream, and loads of people have found that Nizoral (an anti-dandruff shampoo that contains malassezia-killing ketoconazole) works brilliantly.
