    Two Design Students Create Plastic Boat That Fits in Your Backpack

    I’m sure we’ve all seen, or even tried to create, those little origami boats that float on water. Well, two design students at London’s Royal College of Art have taken it one step further.

    Max Frommeld, 29, and Arno Mathies, 26, both studying for their Masters degrees in production design were inspired to create a collapsible plastic rowboat they deemed the “Foldboat” during a workshop in which they were encouraged to make furniture out of paper.
