Could BuzzFeed Soon Be Illegal?

Perhaps a stretch, but here's the story...As Mashable puts it, "An Italian court in Milan has found three Google executives guilty (and acquitted the fourth) of privacy violations, convicting them to suspended six-month sentences. The Google employees were sued over a video posted to Google in 2006, showing four youths bullying a kid with Down syndrome." If courts start holding media sharing companies liable for the actions of their users, this could mean bad things for sites such as our beloved BuzzFeed. Granted, this was overseas, and granted the ruling may be overturned, but still. Scary stuff!
